Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Delivery Technician to safely deliver, set up, and pick up durable medical equipment in patient homes, educating patients on proper use and safety. This role emphasizes high-quality customer service and dependable on-site support in the Phoenix Metro market.

You will handle equipment ranging from 10 to 160 lbs, participate in a Monday-to-Friday schedule, and may receive an on-call stipend. Join a team focused on improving patient safety, comfort, and independence.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, carry and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• At least one-year of related work experience is required.
• 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license
• Completion of Apria’s Driver Training Program
• English reading, writing, and speaking skills

Responsibilities

• Safely lift, carry, and maneuver equipment ranging from 10 lbs – 160 lbs as part of daily deliveries and setups
• Deliver, set up, and pick up DME and supplies inside patient homes
• Provide clear, compassionate, professional instruction on equipment use
• Offer a high level of customer service and support to patients who may rely on this equipment for life‑sustaining needs
• Load and unload equipment from the delivery vehicle
• Respond to emergency delivery requests when needed
• Complete delivery logs, pickup forms, and vehicle documentation accurately
• Maintain supply components in patient profiles
• Assist with equipment cleaning and minor repairs
• Perform routine vehicle checks
• Support additional duties as assigned

The anticipated salary range for this position is $27 - $30 hourly. The actual compensation offered may vary based on job related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.

About The Role

The Delivery Technician delivers, sets up, and picks up durable medical equipment (DME) in patient homes. You will educate patients on basic equipment use and ensure safe operation while providing high‑quality customer service.
