223 Aurora Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a full-time Float Pool Nurse/Medical Assistant to support Kenosha, Pleasant Prairie and Racine locations. The schedule is Monday through Friday with possible Saturday shifts, 5:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and 40 hours per week.

This role includes front desk duties, scheduling, registration, and billing support. You will work with physicians and nurse practitioners to provide high-quality patient service and help maintain accurate medical records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years related customer service experience
• Experience handling difficult callers/customers/patients.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, with the possibility of Saturday shifts as needed for coverage. Availability is required between 5:00 AM and 7:00 PM, with start and end times varying based on operational needs. Pay Range: $19.80 - $29.70

Job Description Summary: To provide efficient, effective, quality customer service and practice support through a variety of general office duties including scheduling, coding, registration and billing. Maximize revenues by collecting payment at time of service and entering accurate and up-to-date billing information (address, insurance coverage, etc.) into the patient accounting system. Assists clinical staff in maintaining accurate medical records.

We're also well trained in the diagnosis and treatment of acute illnesses and chronic diseases and can refer you to specialists if needed.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Ability to function in a high volume, multiple-task environment, and in a crowded or closely shared workspace.
• Exposure to ill patients.
• Ability to work under stressful conditions with demanding customers.
• Must lift up to 35 pounds without help.
• For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available.
• Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
