Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome patients; schedule appointments and handle inquiries.
  • Verify patient information and insurance details; collect required documentation.
  • Maintain patient records and keep front office area organized.
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
  • Answer phones, scan documents, file, and manage routine office tasks.
  • Keep reception area clean and stocked; participate in team meetings.

As a Patient Service Representative at Pro Active Physical Therapy, you'll be an essential part of our team, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure a smooth and positive experience for our patients.

Pay: $18-22/hr

Schedule: Full Time (40 hours per week)

Location: 2700 S. Broadway Englewood, CO 80113

About The Role

As a Patient Service Representative at PRN Physical Therapy, you\'ll be an essential part of our team, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure a smooth and positive experience for our patients.

Duties & Responsibilities

Patient Interaction:

  • Greet and welcome patients with professionalism and warmth.
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient inquiries both in person and over the phone.
  • Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and necessary documentation accurately.
  • Help create a positive work environment and clinic culture by ensuring the patient’s needs are taken care of during transitional periods of therapy. Help provide customer service, a smile.
Administrative Support
  • Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Assist in keeping front office area neat, tidy and organized.
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient experience.
  • Assist front office with front office tasks when down time occurs including but not limited to: answering the phone, scanning documents into charts, scheduling patients, taking over the counter payments, filing, faxing, etc.
Communication And Coordination
  • Liaise effectively between patients, clinical staff, and other departments within the facility.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally to address patient concerns or questions.
Miscellaneous Operations
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Assist in managing inventory and ordering office supplies as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment. Daily equipment cleaning, cleaning tables, laundry, stocking supplies.
Skills & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a customer service role; healthcare setting preferred.
  • Proficiency in using office software and scheduling systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information and documentation.
