Advocate Medical Group (AMG) in Park Ridge, IL is seeking a Patient Service Representative to support scheduling, registration and billing across six AMG locations. The role requires flexibility to rotate between Park Ridge, Des Plaines, Buffalo Grove, Glenview, Mount Prospect, and others, with a 40-hour week and occasional Saturday shifts.

To provide efficient, effective, quality customer service and practice support through a variety of general office duties including scheduling, coding, registration and billing. Maximize revenues by collecting payment at time of service and entering accurate and up-to-date billing information (address, insurance coverage, etc.) into the patient accounting system. Assist clinical staff in maintaining accurate medical records.

Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-5pm
Schedule: Employees are scheduled for five 8-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturday shifts from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM may be required, approximately once per month.
Park Ridge, IL - 1875 Dempster St. AMG OBGYN is the largest delivering OBGYN group out of Lutheran Hospital, providing comprehensive women's healthcare across multiple locations, including Park Ridge, Glenview, Buffalo Grove, Mount Prospect, and Des Plaines. Our team consists of more than 47 clinicians across five groups, including OBGYN physicians, advanced practice providers, certified nurse midwives, MIGS (Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeons), and resident physicians. Ability to function in a high volume, multiple-task environment, and in a crowded or closely shared workspace. Exposure to ill patients. Ability to work under stressful conditions with demanding customers. Must lift 35 pounds without help. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case-case basis.
