Capital Health is seeking a Patient Safety & Performance Improvement Leader to oversee programs that reduce patient risk and promote a culture of proactive safety. You will analyze errors, recommend policy changes, and present findings to clinicians and management.
Role requires a Bachelor’s in a healthcare field, RN preferred, and at least five years in acute care with patient safety experience. Strong data skills, Lean/Six Sigma knowledge, and project leadership are essential.

SUMMARY (Basic Purpose of the Job) Serves as an advocate for patient safety by leading programs that reduce patient risk and promoting systems that foster the development of a culture of proactive patient safety. Analyzes detailed patient-related errors and conducts analysis for management detailing the cause of the error. Recommends changes, policies, or programs that could prevent future errors. Provides feedback to clinicians and assists them in identifying and addressing areas of improvement to promote patient safety evaluation systems. Attends presentations and training programs meant to increase awareness of patient safety initiatives.
