Job summary

The Valley Health System is seeking staff to monitor and report patients identified as at risk to harming themselves or others. This role supports ongoing crisis management and patient safety across a multi-hospital system.

Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent with preferred healthcare experience; current BCLS and completion of Crisis Management within 90 days are required. You will report to an RN and contribute to safe patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• License/Certification: Current BCLS Certification is required. Must successfully complete Crisis Management Course within first 90 days of employment and annually thereafter.
• Other: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department and reports patient welfare, safety and security to RN.
