Overland Park Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Patient Safety Attendant (PSA) to provide continuous observation and patient-centered care for high‑risk patients. You will work with the nursing team to reduce fall risks and support basic daily activities as needed, delivering compassionate care like family.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Patient Safety Attendant (PSA) participates in high quality, patient-centered care by providing continuous observation and monitoring for high-risk patients. In collaboration with the nursing team, the PSA ensures the patient environment is free of obstacles and minimizes risk of falls and accidental or intentional self-harm. The Sitter may also assist with basic activities of daily living. Our Patient Safety Attendants are passionate about ensuring an exceptional patient experience and committed to caring like family.

What You Will Do In This Role

• You will maintain a direct line of sight with patient at all times, including while family and/or visitors are in the room.
