Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a patient sitter for the Cox North Emergency Dept North in Springfield, MO, to maintain safety through continuous observation during the 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM night shift. The role covers a 36-hour work week and requires close collaboration with registered nurses and the patient care team to ensure a secure environment for medically complex patients.

Job Description

Is effectively involved with maintaining the safety for assigned patients through continuous observation and surveillance. Communicates with the Registered Nurse and patient care team to ensure a safe environment for medical patients requiring constant observation.

Education

• Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience

• Preferred: Previous patient sitter experience
