Onancock, VirginiaHiring Range$17.00 - $28.00/Hourly Actual pay is determined by program, work commitment and business needs.OverviewThe Patient Safety Aide reports to the Nurse Manager and works under the direct supervision of the RN taking care of the assigned patient. The job duties include providing safety of this patient at all times by observing patient activities and reporting unsafe behaviors.What you will doSits in the assigned patient's room, to observe the patient to ensure the patient causes no harm to themselves, or others. Specifically ensures the patient does not attempt suicide, fall, injure self, remove IVs, dressing, etc. or leaves the hospital against medical advice. Promotes team work by working effectively as a team member as well as independently. Seeks assistance as needed.
