Job summary

Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA is seeking a Hospitality Associate Room Service to join our Food & Nutrition team. The role involves obtaining patient food preferences, serving meals, and ensuring accuracy of orders while maintaining patient safety and infection control standards.

You will collaborate with clinical and support staff to meet patient, family, and physician expectations, participate in ongoing training, and uphold HACCP and food safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of healthcare experience preferred.
• Food Handlers or ServSafe certification preferred (90-day grace period after hire).

Responsibilities

• Utilizes systems/processes to ensure patient safety, infection control practices, department security & HIPPA guidelines.
• Adhere to HACCP/food safety guidelines/policies & procedures
• Maintain and adhere to Food & Nutrition’s uniform and personal appearance standards at all time
• Utilizes proper processes to achieve patient, customer & physician satisfaction goals.
• Participate in training with other members of the Food Service department staff to further develop/advance within the industry.
