Job summary

Concord Hospital Health System is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Associate to maintain clean patient rooms, corridors, labs, and common areas. Under supervision, you will follow approved procedures to disinfect surfaces and remove waste while respecting patient privacy and safety standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliable attendance, and strong customer service. GED/HS preferred but not required; English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills.
• Must understand Converse English at a level enabling safe, efficient performance of the job.
• GED or High School preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Completes all required job specific training.
• Cleans and disinfects all surfaces including patient rooms, baths, laboratories, offices, halls and other areas following approved procedures.
• Follows sanitization and cleaning protocols for germicidal usage, isolation room cleaning, baseboard cleaning, and equipment surfaces.
• Performs general cleaning duties including dusting, mopping, vacuuming and waste handling.
• Maintains storage areas and housekeeping cart.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
