Job summary

Tanner Environmental Services is seeking an aide to perform daily cleaning and provisioning of patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, lavatories, bathrooms, and offices in a healthcare setting. You will assist patients, families, and guests to ensure comfort and satisfaction, working collaboratively with other departments to complete assignments.

Basic reading and writing skills are required; training on chemicals, supplies, and tools is provided, typically within one week to three months.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write to follow directives.
• Able to demonstrate correct use of chemicals, supplies, and tools after brief training.
• One week to three months on-the-job training.
• Previous experience in a medical facility is desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and supply patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, lavatories, bathrooms, and offices daily.
• Assist patients, families, and guests to contribute to comfort and satisfaction.
• Work as a team with our department and other departments to complete assignments.
• May establish procedures under general supervision.
