Job summary

MD Now Urgent Care is seeking a Patient Care Representative in Florida to support a patient-focused experience across our clinics. You will check-in patients, answer calls, verify insurance, and help maintain accurate demographic and insurance information.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of clinical experience, strong customer service, and comfort using multiple computer programs. Travel between MD Now locations within the assigned area is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting
• BLS certification within 30 days of start
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work with multiple computer programs

Responsibilities

• Checks-in patients in a timely manner and follows Web Check-in procedures
• Answers clinic phone calls and provides information or routes questions
• Verifies insurance in a timely and accurate manner
• Ensures occupational client’s preference card and procedures are followed
• Reviews patient paperwork for completeness and collects insurance/demographic information
• Completes Daily Balance Checklist after each shift with all payment forms accounted for
• Willing to travel/float between MD Now locations within assigned area

Job Summary And Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

• Checks-in patients in a timely manner. Ensures all Web Check-in procedures are followed
• Answers phone calls to the clinic and provides information or refers questions to others as needed
• Verifies insurance timely and accurately
• Ensures the occupational client’s preference card is followed and occupational procedures
• Reviews all patient paperwork to ensure completeness and insures collection of necessary insurance / demographic information
• Completes Daily Balance Checklist after each shift. Includes all forms of payment are accounted for and documented
• Willing to travel/float between all MD Now locations within assigned Area preferred

What Qualifications you will need:

• 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred
