Job summary

MDNow Urgent Care is seeking a Patient Care Representative to welcome patients, manage check-ins, and support clinical staff at our Florida clinics. The role requires strong customer service, the ability to work with multiple computer programs, and flexibility to cover hours across 8am–8pm, Monday through Sunday.

Travel to nearby clinics for scheduling is anticipated; BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting.

Qualifications

• One year of clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred.
• Willingness to travel to other clinics in the area for scheduling purposes.
• Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of start.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work with multiple computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Checks-in patients in a timely manner and follows web check-in procedures.
• Answers clinic phone calls and provides information or routes questions.
• Verifies insurance in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensures occupational client preference cards and procedures are followed.
• Reviews patient paperwork to ensure completeness and collects insurance/demographic data.
• Completes Daily Balance Checklist after each shift; documents all payments.

Job Summary And Qualifications

MDNow Urgent Care Clinic hours are Monday-Sunday 8am-8pm. You must have flexibility to work during those hours.

What you will do in this role:

• Checks-in patients in a timely manner. Ensures all Web Check-in procedures are followed
• Answers phone calls to the clinic and provides information or refers questions to others as needed
• Verifies insurance timely and accurately
• Ensures the occupational client’s preference card is followed and occupational procedures
• Reviews all patient paperwork to ensure completeness and insures collection of necessary insurance / demographic information
• Completes Daily Balance Checklist after each shift. Includes all forms of payment are accounted for and documented

What Qualifications you will need:

• 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred
