Job summary

CareNow is seeking a Patient Care Representative to join our team within the HCA Healthcare family. You will provide patient-focused service, support clinic operations, and ensure accuracy in insurance verification and documentation.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, interact with patients and families, and collaborate with care teams to deliver high-quality urgent care services across our network.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred.
• Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of start is required.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work with multiple computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Checks-in patients in a timely manner and ensures all Web Check-in procedures are followed.
• Answers clinic calls and provides information or routes questions as needed.
• Verifies insurance timely and accurately.
• Follows the occupational client’s preference card and occupational procedures.
• Reviews all patient paperwork to ensure completeness and collects necessary insurance/demographic information.
• Completes Daily Balance Checklist after each shift with all forms of payment documented.
