Option Care Health is seeking a Specialist, Patient Registration in Sun Valley for a hybrid schedule (Tue-Sat, 10a-6:30p). You will facilitate the transition of new patients to our services, coordinating with Sales and clinical teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for patients and referral partners.

Responsibilities include gathering required documentation, securing upfront payments, and supporting claims and denial management.

• Ability to trouble shoot and collaborate with cross-functional team members across sales and operation functions.

Responsibilities

• Engages with patient, referral source, sales, pharmacy, and nursing to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery.
• Creates, communicates and obtains all required documentation for new referrals.
• Secures patient's upfront payment and assists patients to find payment avenues, guiding to financial assistance when needed.
• Supports ongoing activities to ensure clean claims on hold and denial management (follow-up on missing paperwork).
• Assist Patient Registration Supervisor and Manager with special assignments as needed.

Job Description Summary

The Specialist, Patient Registration is responsible for facilitating new patient's transition to Option Care Health services with the goal of delivering a consistent onboarding experience where patients and referral partners feel Option Care Health makes it easy to transition care. The Specialist, Patient Registration works in conjunction with Sales to prepare patients for OCH services and facilitates all aspects of the patient's transition to home/AIS. Hybrid position in our Sun Valley location. Work schedule will be Tues-Sat, 10a-6:30p.

Job Responsibilities

• Engages with patient, referral source, sales, pharmacy, and nursing to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery.
• Creates, communicates and obtains all required documentation for new referrals.
• Secures patient's upfront payment including assisting patients to find avenues for payment where needed (identifies opportunities and directs patient to financial assistance program).
• Supports the ongoing activities needed to ensure clean claims on hold and denial management (follow-up on paperwork where missing).
• Assist Patient Registration Supervisor and Manager with special assignments as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Minimum of two years of experience in related experience required.

• Must be detail-oriented and have a high degree of quality focus.

Pay Transparency

Due to state pay transparency laws, the full range for the position is below:

Pay Range is $22.55-$32.63
