Job summary

• 1 year in a hospital or financial setting OR 3 years of total customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate centralized scheduling for outpatient procedures.
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain pre-certification.
• Collect co-payments/deposits and process cash transactions.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Assist with registration and pre-registration via phone and mail.
• Update schedules and notify affected departments of changes.
• Explain treatment, billing, and policy information to patients.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to improve cash flow.
