Job summary

Emanate Health in California seeks a Registration Representative to ensure accurate, courteous, and timely processing of pre-admits, in-patients, and ER registrations per hospital policy. You will verify insurance, obtain authorizations, determine patient financial responsibility, and document it clearly.

The role requires good customer service, data entry skills, and knowledge of medical terminology; bilingual abilities are a plus. Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm; pay range $23.00–$34.50 hourly.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Some college or technical school preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Computer data entry skills required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Insurance verification experience preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process pre-admits, in-patients, ancillary patients and ER registrations.
• Verify insurance eligibility/benefits and obtain authorizations.
• Document patient financial responsibility accurately.
• Assist with patient transport as needed, including pushing wheelchairs.
