Mass General Brigham's Emergency Department seeks a Patient Observer to provide constant observation under RN direction for patients at risk to themselves or others. Schedule includes 24 hours per week across two 12-hour night shifts (7:00 pm – 7:30 am) with rotational holidays and weekends, located at 267 Charles Street.
The role requires documenting care, timely handoffs, and assisting with feeding while maintaining patient confidentiality and following hospital guidelines.

Patient Observer - Emergency Department
The Emergency Department is a Level I Adult, Pediatric and Burn Trauma Center. It spans the ground floor of 3 buildings and is divided into several areas, including pediatric and psychiatric areas.
Under RN direction, provides constant observation to patients identified as a risk to themselves or others. Responsible for providing care related tasks in accordance with the individual needs of the patient, maintaining patient confidentiality and following hospital guidelines.
