Job summary

MultiCare Health System in Olympia, WA seeks a Dietary Ambassador to ensure patients, families and visitors have premier nutritional care experiences on our Nutrition Services team. The role collaborates with clinical staff to deliver meals and support dietary needs, while maintaining service quality in a per diem, day shift setting.

Responsibilities include answering calls, coordinating meal delivery, assisting with menu selections, and coordinating with the dietitian for follow-up when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Washington State Food Handlers Card.
• Minimum one year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service through answering phone calls, internal communications, and patient meal delivery.
• Assemble, coordinate, and deliver patient meals.
• Assist patients with appropriate meal selections based on diet order, allergies, and preferences.
• Educate patients on dietary restrictions and refer to the clinical dietitian for follow-up.
• Perform a variety of duties including cold food production, cafe service, catering setup, dishwashing, and cashiering.
