RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Food Service Worker at Monmouth Medical Center to support daily kitchen operations, tray line, and dish room. You will help ensure meals are prepared, delivered, and served safely with care.

The role emphasizes teamwork, customer service, cleanliness, and adherence to food safety standards. Full-time with variable shifts; weekend and holiday availability required to provide ongoing patient care.

Formación

• Food service experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow food safety and sanitation standards.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Serve on the tray assembly line in assigned positions (starters, servers, soups, desserts, beverages).
• Wash pots and pans and perform heavy cleaning duties as directed.
• Assist in care and maintenance of work areas, equipment, and supplies.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment; perform routine cleaning duties.
• Collect, process, dispose of trash and waste.
• Label and date portioned food products.
• Deliver and retrieve patient meal trays per policy.
• Maintain food preparation policies and quality standards.
• Prepare, load, transport, and strip food trucks; pre-soak silverware.
• Communicate patient questions to Diet Office and notify nursing staff when help is needed.
