Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Food Services Representative (FSR) to provide hospitality and patient-centric meal service. You will retrieve meal selections, assemble and deliver trays, assist with meal setup, and support unit pantries with accuracy and care.

The role requires reading diet orders, following directions, and maintaining a hygienic, organized work environment while delivering extraordinary service to patients and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
• Visits patient rooms and retrieves meal selections from patients prior to meal deliveries.
• Assembles, delivers, and picks up patient trays; delivers nourishments and snacks as ordered.
• Assists in arranging tray cards, loading food carts, and serving meals.
• Washes and stores dishes; follows cleaning schedules and performs cleaning duties as scheduled.
• Complies with dietary orders and department policies; supports CQI initiatives as assigned.
