Job summary

Mercy in St. Louis is seeking a Nutrition Assistant to deliver patient meals within the Food and Nutrition Services team.

You will follow guidelines with high accuracy during delivery, setup, and monitoring of meal service, and interact warmly with patients, families, and hospital staff. Ideal candidates have a High School diploma, read and write well, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and write well.

• Equipment used: Computer and/or tablet, basic food service equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient meals with high accuracy during delivery, setup and monitoring of meal service.
• Provide courteous customer service to patients, families and hospital staff.
• Interact professionally with patients and colleagues to support nutrition services.
