Job summary

Temple Health seeks a Patient Interviewer to ensure accurate and efficient patient registration for hospital services, gathering and processing registration, billing, and related information across Admissions, Outpatient, Radiology, and Emergency Department.

You will verify insurance coverage and benefits, review the process with patients and families, and continually promote a positive first impression of the Hospital.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or related education/experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 3 years experience in Patient Access required.
• Knowledge of insurance requirements, verification, and 3rd party billing is required.
• Completion of TUH/TUHS training/internship may be considered in lieu of experience.

Ensures that all patients are correctly and efficiently registered for hospital services. Gathers and processes all registration, billing and related information from patients in the Admissions, Outpatient, Radiology areas and/or Emergency Department. Education

• 3 years experience in a related role Required
