Job summary

Providence Portland Medical Center is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time day shift. You will protect patients, visitors, staff and facilities, enforce PH&S policies, respond to incidents, conduct patrols, and coordinate with security leadership.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience using personal computer with standard Microsoft applications.
• Oregon Private Security license required upon hire (armed or unarmed) or follow PST guidelines.
• Preferred coursework in criminal justice, psychology or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Protect patients, visitors, staff, physicians, property and facilities from harm and incidents.
• Enforce PH&S and facility policies; investigate incidents and restrain if necessary.
• Conduct vehicle and foot patrols, site surveys, and assist in training clinic personnel.
