Job summary

Tidelands Health in Georgetown, SC is seeking a Radiology Technician (Limited Certified) to perform diagnostic radiographs and support patient flow in a busy physician office setting. This PRN role focuses on quality patient care and adherence to safety and protocol standards.

You will educate patients, position them for exams, document medical records, and set technical parameters to ensure accurate imaging.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with Limited Certification in Radiology and CMA Certification required.
• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educate and prepare patients for examinations, including positioning patients for proper anatomy visualization.
• Provide excellent patient care and effective communication during procedures.
• Performs accurate documentation of patient medical records and patient history prior to exams.
• Determine and set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
