Job summary

Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare in Memphis is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to promote safe and appropriate use, storage, and distribution of medications for patient care. You will provide consultative services to patients and healthcare providers, and model behavior aligned with MLH Mission, Vision and Values.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy (Doctorate preferred) and licensure in Tennessee; experience with pharmacy systems and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Required - Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.
• Preferred - Doctorate in Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Provides consultative services and clinical expertise to evaluate and improve medication usage.
• Promotes continued improvement within the pharmacy scope of practice.
• Processes orders and prescriptions to provide medications and supplies ordered by physicians and practitioners.
• Advises physicians and staff in the safe administration of medications.
• Ensures compliance with policies for medication safety, regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Performs other job functions as assigned.
