You will verify benefits in OncoEMR and Centricity, collect payments, and collaborate with managed care teams to ensure accurate billing and clear communication with patients and providers.

This role requires attention to detail, empathy for patients, and adherence to regulatory and privacy

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience working in a healthcare field is required.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills are needed.
• Insurance knowledge requirements including understanding of medical terminology.
• Managed care authorization process familiarity.
• ICD10 codes collection experience.
• Ability to calculate and collect patients’ responsibility and insurance co-pays/coinsurance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and collect the financial responsibilities of our patients.
• Keep patients’ insurance benefits up to date in OncoEMR and Centricity and view services for diagnosis and coverage.
• Perform daily tasks of Managed Care and Patient Financial Navigator.
