Qualifications

• Demonstrated reliability and punctuality in previous roles.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in a healthcare environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
• Comfort working in patient care areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning duties throughout the facility, including patient rooms, hallways, waiting areas, restrooms, and staff areas.
• Follow cleaning protocols to meet healthcare sanitation standards and regulations.
• Handle cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, and equipment safely.
• Collect and dispose of regular and medical waste per policies.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages.
• Respond to cleaning requests and emergencies, prioritizing tasks to protect patient care.
• Coordinate cleaning schedules with nursing staff to minimize disruption.
• Document completed tasks and maintain cleaning logs.
