Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island is seeking an Associate, Hospitality Services - PD to support a safe, clean environment in assigned areas within a hospital setting. You will perform environmental tasks, assist with department operations, and help maintain high HCAHPS scores through timely communication and reliability.

The role requires English language comprehension and the ability to read MSDS/chemical labels; a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read MSDS & chemical labels.

Responsibilities

• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Performs environmental tasks for the department's orderly functioning.
• Recognizes and escalates issues via proper chain of command.
• Responds to dispatch promptly and supports HCAHPS improvement.
• Cleans spills according to HAZMAT guidelines and reports problems.
• Maintains clear radio/phone communication etiquette.
