Fresenius Medical Care in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Inpatient Patient Transporter to move patients safely within the hospital and dialysis unit using wheelchairs or stretchers. You will restock supplies, keep areas tidy, and assist RNs as directed.
Responsibilities include verifying patient identity, preparing transport equipment, assisting with ambulation, delivering items, and supporting a clean, organized entrance. CPR certification and 0-1 years of related experience preferred.
Restock supply carts as needed. Put away supplies as directed. Move dialysis equipment (when not in active patient use) within the hospital and dialysis unit as instructed by the RN. Keep unit clean and tidy as needed.
Responsible for the safe transportation of patients to and from areas in the clinic or hospital via a wheelchair or stretcher. This job could include exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Heavy Work as defined by the US Department of Labor.
High School Diploma required or GED equivalent
0 - 1 year's related experience. CPR Certification
