Job summary

Prevention and Recovery Center seeks a Food Service Technician to support dishwashing, serving, food prep and janitorial duties. You will provide excellent patient and staff dining experiences while adhering to HACCP and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include managing serving lines, restocking stations, and ensuring proper food temperatures and sanitation throughout shifts. This is a full-time, on-site role in Houston, TX with hourly pay of $15–$17.

Qualifications

• Graduated from High School or GED completed.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow all food safety and physical safety guidelines.
• Serve meals to patients, staff and guests and keep service line stocked.
• Prepare and portion meals per recipes and supervisor instructions.
• Restock and organize serving areas, desserts, fruit/yogurt bars, and condiments.
• Maintain cleanliness and infection control in kitchen and dining areas.
