Job summary

Qualifications

• No degree or diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient meal orders and tray assembly.
• Distribute and retrieve meal trays, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain clear communications with dietitians, nursing staff and associates.
• Interact professionally with patients, visitors, and staff to meet service standards.
• Restock and clean work stations and kitchen areas as assigned.
• Use department computer systems to enter preferences, print reports, and print diet order sheets.
• Prepare nourishments and floor stocks, and record temperatures of unit refrigerators.
• May assist in other areas as needed.
• Maintain focus on safety, quality and efficiency as part of the High Reliability Organization.
