Regional One Health is seeking a Patient Dining Representative to support patient meal service on nursing units. You will present meal options, explain online QR code menus, and ensure accurate delivery of trays while considering allergies and dietary needs.
The role emphasizes compassionate patient interactions, collaborative work with clinical staff, and adherence to department policies, including HIPAA compliance, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Direct responsibility to build rapport with, and establish relationships with patients, patient family member(s), and Clinical staff on nursing units. Must demonstrate genuine compassion toward patients and patient family member(s) while performing essential functions below.

Prepares, delivers, and recovers all patient meal trays for assigned nursing unit(s).
Follows established ROC dress code (Policy No: 5.11 - Professional Appearance) and wears the approved uniform for the Patient Dining Representative program.
Works effectively as a team member within department and with customer to provide quality service through communication, cooperation, and collaboration.
Maintains confidentiality in matters relating to patient/family, department, and hospital information. Adheres to established department and organization policies (i.e., HIPAA, Confidentiality and Compliance Policies).
Maintains required department records, reports, and files. Adheres to established department policies, procedures, objectives, compliance/quality improvement
Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe environment for patients and personnel.
Provides coverage for relief and absences within department. Demonstrates flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to maintain coverage for food and nutrition services.
Completes required continuous training and education, including, department specific requirements.
