Job summary

OhioHealth in Mansfield is seeking a Nutrition Services Aide to assist with patient meals—assembling, delivering and retrieving trays while ensuring accuracy and right temperature. You will work closely with dietitians, nurses and staff to meet patient satisfaction and safety goals.

You may prepare nourishments, stock stations, use department software to enter orders and print labels, and assist across the department as needed. HS diploma preferred for some roles; variable shifts offered.

Qualifications

• No degree or diploma required.
• HS diploma/GED preferred for individuals over 18.
• Willing to work variable shifts in nutrition services.

Responsibilities

• Complete patient meal orders, assemble, distribute and retrieve meal trays in a timely manner.
• Maintain clear communications with dietitians, nursing staff and OhioHealth associates.
• Prepare nourishments, floor stocks, late trays; print reports and labels using department software.
• Record temperatures of unit refrigerators and assist in other areas as needed.

Maintains clear and accurate communications at all times with dietitians, nursing and all OhioHealth associates.30%Professionally interacts with patients, visitors and associates to meet or exceed preset service standards.15%Cleaning and stocking work stations, pods, kitchen areas as assigned.10%Using the computer software systems in department/hospital, enter preferences, print reports, labels for nourishments, and diet order change sheets.10%Prepares and delivers nourishments, floor stocks, late trays and records temperatures of unit refrigerators.
