Job summary

HHS, LLC in Fort Lauderdale is seeking friendly, compassionate team players to join our culinary and dietary team at Kindred Hospital South Florida - Ft. Lauderdale.

You will assist patients with menu selection and deliver meals in a timely fashion while delivering excellent service. This full-time/part-time position offers flexible shifts (day, evening, night), background check required, and opportunities to grow in a healthcare food service environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed.
• English communication required and able to work in a team.
• Culinary experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service for all patients.
• Deliver and collect patient menus in a timely manner.
• Prepare cold/hot items and condiments for meal times.
• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently.
