Job summary

Schweiger Dermatology Group in Bala Cynwyd is seeking a Full-Time Patient Coordinator to support our front office, assist patients, and coordinate with providers and staff. Prior healthcare experience is required to ensure smooth patient flow and service excellence.

Responsibilities include phone handling, scheduling, maintaining a welcoming environment, and assisting with inventory and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience is required.
• Medical receptionist experience is preferred.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems is preferred.
• Must be computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are essential.
• Excellent patient relation and customer service skills are required.
• Open availability to work weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Handle all incoming phone calls and scheduling tasks in a timely, courteous manner.
• Create a welcoming, professional atmosphere for patients and providers.
• Understand provider to patient flow and anticipate next steps.

Job Summary

Full-Time Patient Coordinator at our Bala Cynwyd Office. The Patient Coordinator executes all front office duties and provides support to patients, providers, and support staff. Previous healthcare experience is required.

Schedule

Full time, 30+ hours. Availability Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays within operating hours of 7:00am - 7:30pm. Open Flexibility to help cover in a team environment is needed.

Patient Coordinator/Medical Receptionist

• Proficiently and efficiently handle all incoming phone calls, scheduling-related tasks and online leads in a timely and knowledgeable fashion while creating a positive phone call experience for each caller.
• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance quality of service and care offered to patients and for respective provider(s)
• Understand provider to patient flow and anticipate provider’s next steps to the best of their ability
• Perform inventory responsibilities and stocking of supplies and equipment as requested
• Attend all in-house training and continued education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Healthcare Experience is required.
• Medical Receptionist Experience preferred.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems preferred.
• Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Excellent patient relation and customer services skills.
• Must be professional, reliable and dedicated employee.
• Prefer prior experience working in a dermatology / medical environment preferred.
• Open availability to work during weekdays and weekends.
