Summit Orthopedics in Minnesota is seeking a Patient Coordinator to manage clinical support coordination and scheduling follow-ups and surgeries. You will facilitate cross‑team communication to ensure smooth patient care under the Practice Development Manager.
This full‑time float position runs Monday–Friday 7:30 AM–4:00 PM with primary locations TBD and possible coverage at outreach sites. Education: High School required; Associate degree preferred; 2 years of related experience highly valued.

Under direct supervision of the Practice Development Manager, the Patient Coordinator will be responsible for managing the clinical support coordination of the patient's care. Primary responsibility for scheduling follow up appointments, surgery coordination and scheduling, communication across care teams and other Summit departments. Provides other non-clinical activities, in support of patient care, as directed by the physician and/or other provider/clinician.
This is a full-time float position. Monday - Friday schedule of 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (subject to change based on clinic and/or team needs). Primary locations are TBD at this time. This position may also involve coverage at Summit outreach sites, as applicable.
Summit's hiring range for this position is $21.62 to $27.03 per hour. The hired candidate may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, differentials and/or deferred compensation. Education: High School (required). Associates of Medical Assistant (preferred).
Experience: 2 years: Associate degree or completion of a community or technical college program such as medical administrative, health care specialty, or another related program. In lieu of education, an equivalent combination of coursework and previous related experience may be considered. (required)
