Akumin is hiring a Part-time Patient Coordinator for its mobile radiology unit in Port Townsend, WA, in partnership with Jefferson Healthcare Hospital. You will support patient care tasks, assist with registrations, scheduling, and verifying insurance, while ensuring HIPAA compliance and a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities include greeting patients, handling registrations, answering calls, collecting payments when applicable, and coordinating with clinical staff.

The Patient Coordinator is responsible for performing a variety of customer service and patient care tasks to ensure a positive patient experience. Ensures documentation and patient records are prepared and organized. Ensures patients have a clear understanding of what to expect during and after their appointment.

The estimated hourly pay range for this role in Washington is $18-20. Actual compensation depends on experience, skills, location, and other factors such as internal equity and budget.
