Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a Patient Safety Attendant to support nursing staff in caring for high‑risk patients requiring close observation. The role involves providing basic care, ensuring safety, and assisting with daily activities under RN supervision.
The position supports the Nursing Resource Pool/Float Pool and offers full-time or part-time hours with shifts including 11 pm–7:30 am. Education requirements include a high school diploma and CPR/BLS certification.

Patient safety attendants perform specific patient care activities as assigned by the patient's RN considering age specific, developmental, cultural and spiritual needs. They will be working with high risk suicide precaution patients.
Patient Safey Attendants will remain with, and observe the assigned patient at all times. Patient must be in direct observation. Companions will arrange meal and break time with the patient's nurse to ensure that the patient is never unattended.
11 pm-7:30am

Every Other Weekend and Holiday per year required for Full-time and Part-time team members.
