Cayuga Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to deliver exceptional patient care and support to physicians. The role requires strong people and communication skills and flexibility to work in two locations.

Onsite opportunity at 401 Cayuga Park Ln, Ithaca, NY 14850, with shift 8:00am - 4:30pm, and a pay range of $18.00–$22.00 per hour plus benefits. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with clinical competency including aseptic techniques and EMR proficiency.

Formación

• Medical Assistant with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated clinical competency, including aseptic techniques and sterilization.
• Proficiency in EMR and scheduling protocols.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; basic keyboard skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform clinical duties and procedures within the scope of practice according to NYS laws and practice protocols.
• Record patients' vital signs, prepare exam rooms, and sterilize equipment and supplies as per protocols.
• Assist physicians/providers with clinical questions, prescription refills, test results, and patient calls according to practice protocols.
• Prepare patient records for visits as directed by the physician/provider.
