Job summary

Dermatology Solutions Group, LLC (DSG) provides professional management services to SEDG, a dermatology practice with locations throughout the Southeast. The Medical Assistant supports physicians with daily patient care, documentation, injections, and room readiness, ensuring a smooth workflow and high-quality patient experiences.

The role requires HS diploma or GED with certification and about a year of medical office experience; travel to main and satellite offices may be involved.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED and current certification.
• One year medical experience in a physician’s office or equivalent training/experience; will train a new graduate.
• Maintenance of professional certification, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Ensures an excellent patient experience with all aspects of the practice and interactions.
• Accurately documents patient history, medications and vital signs.
• Prepare patients for examination and treatment; escort to exam room and assist with procedures.
• Administer injections and support examinations and office procedures as directed by Medical Providers.
• Manage patient communications and respond to questions within 24 hours; maintain clean/stocked exam rooms.
• Process e-prescriptions and coordinate referrals as directed by Medical Providers.
