Job summary

Walgreens is transforming to a patient-centric pharmacy experience. As a Pharmacy Technician or Apprentice, you will engage customers, support pharmacists, and build strong patient relationships. The program includes a nationally recognized apprenticeship leading toward PTCB certification and ongoing skill development.

You will learn to use pharmacy systems, handle prescriptions, and contribute to clinical services while supporting inventory, claims, and customer care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of retail experience preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Assist pharmacists by entering patient and drug information and supporting workflow.
• Fill prescriptions by counting and pouring medications and check for interactions.
• Maintain inventory, process claims, and help with store operations as needed.
• Support clinical services coordination and relationship-building with healthcare providers.
