Walmart is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead patient communications and advocate for wellbeing in a fast-paced retail pharmacy. You’ll share clinical knowledge and work to the top of your license, serving as a community leader among pharmacy staff.

This role emphasizes patient-centered care, counseling, immunizations, and outreach like Wellness Days, while balancing inventory control and cost savings for patients in a dynamic store setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
• Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
• Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).

Responsibilities

• Advocate of patient-centered care and adapt to a diverse patient base.
• Counsel patients, process prescriptions, and administer immunizations.
• Engage in community involvement and Wellness Days.
• Understand the business, from inventory control to cost savings for patients.
• Guide pharmacy staff on customer service approaches to resolve concerns.
• Use data and conversations to understand community health issues.

Education
