VIPCARE in Foley, AL is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support under a physician, PA, or NP. The role includes preparing patients, performing basic procedures, documenting in EMR, and coordinating care to ensure safe, high-quality care for Medicare Advantage patients.

The position emphasizes value-based care, vaccine administration, phlebotomy, specimen processing, and front-office duties while supporting preventive care outreach and AWVs.

Qualifikationen

• Required high school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required or obtained within organizational guidelines.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Welcome and prepare patients for examinations, documenting history, medications, allergies, and other data in the EMR.
• Measure and record vital signs and clinical observations.
• Prepare examination rooms and assist providers during visits and procedures.
• Explain treatment plans and follow-up care to patients as directed.
• Provide compassionate patient-focused service to promote a positive experience.
• Administer medications, immunizations, and in-office treatments as directed by the provider.

1+ year Medical Assistant experience
