Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered by the American Medical Technologists, Preferred
• Certification by the American Association of Medical Assistants, Preferred
• Completion of Medical Assistant Training, Required
• High School Diploma or equivalent, Required
• Minimum of one (1) year of related work experience, Preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Ex. Word, Outlook)
• Experience with Epic, Preferred
• Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or community health experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Support patient care management and clinical procedures under supervision
• Perform vital signs, prepare patients, and document in EMR
• Administer injections/medications as directed
• Collect and process laboratory specimens and run basic tests
• Maintain infection control and AAAHC compliance
• Schedule follow-up appointments and manage front/back office duties
