Job summary

Aramark is seeking an EVS Worker to clean and maintain assigned areas in healthcare settings. You will sanitize patient rooms, handle waste, and maintain equipment while following infection control and safety procedures.

The role emphasizes customer service and adaptability in a patient-focused environment. Responsibilities include securing the facility, reporting maintenance needs, and performing duties per client standards.

Qualifications

• Prior custodial experience preferred.
• Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions.
• Role may involve physical demands (lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking/standing).

Responsibilities

• Adheres to OSHA, state/local, federal and Aramark procedures for safety.
• Cleans and sanitizes patient/resident rooms including vacuuming, dusting, bed making and waste disposal; sanitizes restrooms per infection control.
• Maintains and cleans housekeeping equipment.
• Cleans areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements.
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas.
• Reports maintenance concerns via work orders to appropriate personnel.
• Maintains friendly, efficient customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, patients, and co-workers; adaptable to needs.
• Secures the facility; ensures building is locked/unlocked as required.
• Ensures security of company assets.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager.
