Job summary

Sodexo at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL is hiring a part-time Barista to deliver quick, friendly service while crafting hand-made beverages. You'll greet guests, prepare coffee and tea drinks, manage beverage and food items, and maintain a clean, welcoming coffee station.

This role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, customer-service experience, and knowledge of food safety. You’ll handle cash, learn menu offerings, and work across shifts, including mornings and afternoons,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and provides quick, friendly service.
• Prepares hot and cold beverages with accuracy.
• Engages in suggestive selling and educates guests on menu offerings.
• Maintains clean coffee bar and preparation areas.
• Records sales, handles cash, and follows cash-handling procedures.
• Works while standing for extended periods and can lift up to 50 pounds.
