Jefferson Health seeks a professional registered nurse to provide patient-centered care within a behavioral health setting. The role emphasizes collaboration with patients and designated care partners, education, and adherence to evidence-based nursing practices.

You will participate in safety and quality initiatives, discharge planning, and work within inter-professional teams to deliver compassionate, culturally aware care in a hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Knowledge of Family-Centered Practice and collaboration with patients and families.
• Cultural Awareness and ability to work with diverse populations.
• Effective communication skills and appropriate delegation within the team.
• RN licensure in NJ (RN - Licensed Registered Nurse NJ).
• At least one year RN experience in a behavioral health unit.
• Bachelor’s Degree BSN or higher strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients, families and staff in line with Jefferson Health values.
• Educates patients and families, identifies learning needs and priorities.
• Uses information technology to communicate, monitor care outcomes and drive quality improvement.
• Works within nursing and inter-professional teams with open communication and shared decisions.
• Supports safety and quality improvement committees and receives feedback to improve practice.
• Performs discharge planning and coordinates follow-up care.
