Job summary

The RN will supervise delegated tasks, may serve as Charge Nurse when assigned, and must maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Florida or eligibility with SSN and pending approval.
• AT LEAST ADN with BSN required within 3 years of hire; BSN preferred later.
• BLS certification required on first day; ACLS/PALS/NRP optional depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective nursing care using the nursing process.
• Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other professionals.
• Coordinate care and ensure continuity across the care continuum.
• Delegate tasks while maintaining accountability for outcomes.
• Function as Charge Nurse when assigned.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Adhere to policies, regulatory requirements, and professional standards.
• Promote safety, quality, patient satisfaction, and teamwork.
